Act as a teacher who's an expert in instructional design. Plan a lesson of [length, for example 80 minutes] on [topic] for [grade or level and number of students]. Context: - Learning objective: [what students should be able to do by the end] - Group's prior knowledge: [what they've already covered] - Available resources: [for example projector, computers or just a whiteboard] - Group characteristics: [for example very participative or with very different levels] Task: 1. Write the objective with an observable verb (for example explain, solve, compare or design) and how you'll know it was achieved. 2. Design the sequence: an opening that activates what they already know and sparks interest, a middle with activities where students think and produce (not just listen) and a close with a synthesis. 3. For each stage, include duration, what the teacher does, what the students do and what materials are used. 4. Include questions to check understanding during the lesson, an adaptation for students who move faster and another for those who need more support. 5. End with a short exit assessment and what to do if there's time left over or not enough. Response format: the plan in a table and, below it, ready-to-use materials (verbatim instructions, questions and examples). Rules: - Activities that are realistic for the available time and resources. - Clear instructions, written the way a student would read them. - If any detail is missing, make the most reasonable assumption and state it at the start.
